There are hundreds of kilometers of underground rivers boasting impressive rock formations, stalactites, and stalagmites.
The rainwater filters through the limestone into the underground channels and the result is crystal clear fresh water.
Once you are ready with your specialized equipment, your expert guide will accompany through 600 meters of channels and allow you to explore the best areas.

Rio Secreto is open 7 days a week and has hourly tours from 9am through until 2pm.
The tour is 3.5 hours long plus transportation time. You can book the tour with transportation or admission only.
Group size is limited to 10 people per tour, so reserve your spot to not miss out!
Hints and Tips
- Bring some extra money for tips or souvenirs.
- Bring a comfortable change of clothes and swim suit.
- Participants must be able to walk unassisted and the maximum weight is 120 kg (250lbs).
- For safety reason, you are not permitted to participate if you are pregnant.
- Wear biodegradable sunscreen.
Kids
Children ages 4-11 can take part in the Rio Secreto excursion and pay half price.
Accessibility
Not accessible for people with limited mobility as this is a very physical tour.
