Description

The best of the Riviera Maya in one fantastic day - see the Mayan ruins of Coba before visiting a local Mayan community for some nature activities!

Coba is set in the jungle and is less known than Chichen Itza.

At its peak, Coba was thought to have had up to 50,000 inhabitants and the total area extending to 80 km².contains several temples, the impressive Nohoch Mul temple the tallest in the Yucatan Peninsula. At 42 meters (138 feet) in height, tourists are not permitted to climb the 120 steps to the top.

The Coba site is quite large and spread out, if you wish to explore with a bicycle, they have bikes and bicycle taxis available for rent. You will have a guided tour and free time to explore.

During the Maya Encounter portion of the day, you will have the opportunity to rappel into a cenote. There are also two zip lines to get your adrenaline pumping. You can canoe through a lagoon, and have a Mayan Shaman bless you in a ceremony.
