Constant music from next door (not sure what was going on) but most unpleasant.

There was a mixup in that I was assured we would have a third bed and they hadn't put one in the room. It was delivered immediately though.
This is one of the nicest places I have stayed and I have stayed in many 5 star hotels/motels.

AGain, great. The only problem with the hotel was our shower head didn't work well, we took care of that. Also, they advertise a "wellness center" but in actuality, it is a small room with about 6 piece of workout equipment but only about 2-3 actually work, we were disappointed with that (especially since it rained for 4 straight days so we really wanted to work out, limited use of the equipment)

Las Palapas was a wonderful resort. The ONLY complaint would be that the resort next door played EXTREMELY LOUD Techno music from 1:00pm - 8:00pm every day. Im not sure if it was due to the holiday week or not - otherwise everything was wonderful. We were very impressed by the staff!

Great property, unique in it eco-enviornment and bungalo accommodations. Terrible shame they will convert to condominiums.

Next door to Las Palapas was an extremely noisy bar on the beach which blasted music all afternoon. It was impossible to sit and relax in my hammock. Management was unable to remedy the situation. It's too bad, as everything else was very nice..
