Playa Maya Hotel is well situated, away from street noise, with access only via the beach (but with public parking and pick-up/drop-off available within 40 feet of our entrance on calle 8).

There are a restaurant & bar with beach dining available and a small convenience store where you can buy various things.

The property has air-conditioned gym facility and mini-spa (basically a beauty salon with braiding, temporary tattoo and massage service). Guests will receive 20% discount on massages.

Playa del Carmen it is one of the prime fishing areas of the Caribbean. Catch includes white marlin, sailfish, Wahoo, mahi-mahi, tuna, barracuda, amberjack, grouper, Spanish mackerel, dolphin (the fish, not the mammal), snapper and shark, depending on the time of year.
