First off, \u00a0you get to explore the dense Mayan Jungle as you drive your own buggy through the fascinating trails of the jungle.<\/p>\n<p>You do this in <b>small groups<\/b> guided by a friendly and dedicated team.\u00a0 The tour feels intimate and personal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Perfect for petrol heads.<\/b> It&#8217;s guaranteed to fill you with just the right amount of adrenaline for an unforgettable action-packed day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">2. Secondly, discover one of Playa del Carmen&#8217;s best-kept secrets. Guided by the Jungle Buggy team you head off into the hidden corners of the jungle to one of the most sacred and beautiful cenotes I have ever seen!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Discover what lies beneath in the <b>mystical and magical underwater world,<\/b> unique to this part of the world.<\/p>\n<p><em>(I should note the last time I did this tour the cenote location had changed.\u00a0 It used to be a cavernous underground site but is now a semi-open cenote with both shallow and deeps parts. Good news if you&#8217;re a claustrophobic like me as the new cenote is way more open and light).\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">3. Lastly, just when you think your day couldn&#8217;t get any more memorable open your eyes up to a whole new side of Mexico.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The side of Mexico that not every average traveler gets to see. Far removed from the luxury of your hotel it will feel as if you have been transported into another world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Less than ten minutes from downtown Playa, get involved with a local community and provide food to an <b>impoverished\u00a0neighborhood<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>This tour is <strong>unique<\/strong> because it gives you the opportunity to become more by giving something back. Pricing of Jungle Buggy Tour<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Adults (11+ yrs) &#8211; $92.65 USD<\/li>\n<li>Kids (age 10 and under) &#8211; $55.25 USD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note this tour is not recommended for kids under age 8.<\/p>\n<p>To drive the buggy you must be 16 years old with a full drivers license.<\/p>\n<p>Duration = <strong>half-day tour 4-5 hours\u00a0<\/strong>so it doesn&#8217;t take up a full day of your vacation but is still jam-packed with adventure and fun!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roundtrip transportation is provided<\/strong> if your hotel falls within the Playa del Carmen 10 mile radius zone. The Cenote Visit on the Jungle Buggy Tour<\/h2>\n<p>Below is a picture of the Jungle Buggy team showing us around a sacred and mesmerizing cenote!<\/p>\n<p>I should note they are completely dedicated to creating change in Playa del Carmen. Visiting a &#8216;REAL&#8217; Mexican Neighborhood<\/h2>\n<p>By far my favorite part of the tour! You can see in this photo of me and the village just how grateful and thankful the people are that you came to visit.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-13842\" src=\"https:\/\/www.playadelcarmen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/20449146_829463363896945_6797595803290612803_o.jpg\" alt=\"Jungle Buggy group\" width=\"760\" height=\"570\" data-id=\"13842\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Patrick, the man behind this wonderful tour, is extremely passionate about<strong> helping others<\/strong> and doing his bit for society.<\/p>\n<p>After drying off from the cenote you will continue your trip through the jungle before arriving at a typical village to witness what Mayan family life is <em><strong>REALLY<\/strong><\/em> like.<\/p>\n<p>This is a real <strong>eye-opener<\/strong> and makes you super grateful for all the blessings you have in your own life.<\/p>\n<p>Just before you enter the heart of the village you stop off at a market. Here you have the option to purchase bags of food for families in the village.<\/p>\n<p>Each bag consists of a <strong>mix of rice, pasta, crackers, fruit, and milk<\/strong>.
