Whether you&#8217;re looking for a place to party, chill out, get an amazing tan or just have a good meal and some drink with the family, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.playadelcarmen.com\/blog\/best-playa-del-carmen-beach-clubs-bars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>there\u2019s a beach club for everyone<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The only problem is, they <strong>aren&#8217;t always cheap<\/strong>. $300 pesos ($15 USD)\u00a0for a beach chair or $1000 pesos ($50 USD)\u00a0minimum spend per person isn&#8217;t really my idea of fun.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why I\u2019ve made this list of the <strong>best budget beach clubs in Playa del Carmen<\/strong> for those of you who don&#8217;t want to tug on those purse strings quite so hard.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re staying outside of Playa, be sure to check out our suggestions on the top <a href=\"https:\/\/www.playadelcarmen.com\/blog\/7-best-riviera-maya-beach-clubs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Riviera Maya beach clubs<\/strong><\/a> as well.<\/p>\n<h1><b>1) Yan Ten<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11183\" src=\"https:\/\/www.playadelcarmen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Yan-Ten-Budget-Beach-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Dining area at Yan Ten Budget Beach\" width=\"760\" height=\"570\" \/><\/p>\n<h6><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.co.uk\/maps\/place\/YAN+TEN\/@20.6229583,-87.0743913,18.27z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x6da2db3572285eae!8m2!3d20.6237568!4d-87.0732848\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Beach &amp; Calle 4<\/b><\/a><\/h6>\n<h6><b>Beach Chair Fee:<\/b> $80 pesos or free if you order<\/h6>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Yan-Ten-club-de-playa-803666216339422\/?hc_ref=SEARCH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yan Ten<\/a>\u00a0is probably the cheapest of all the budget beach clubs in Playa del Carmen, but this little place still packs a punch.<\/p>\n<p>With the exact same views as the more expensive beach clubs, an extensive menu, and free beach chairs if you order just a beer, it\u2019s definitely a good place to kick back for a day.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s always a good sign when you see the locals sitting in the shade enjoying the food in a Mexican restaurant, and at Yan Ten this is the usual sight.<\/p>\n<p>Dishes are no frills seafood, but very tasty, and range from $50-110 pesos ($2.50-$5.00 USD).<\/p>\n<p>No matter what time of day you decide to stroll into Yan Ten, they will have a couple of beach chairs available and some cold beers waiting for you.<\/p>\n<h1><b>2) Wah Wah<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11182\" src=\"https:\/\/www.playadelcarmen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Wah-Wah-Budget-Beach-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Wah Wah beach bar\" width=\"760\" height=\"507\" \/><\/p>\n<h6><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.co.uk\/maps\/place\/Wah+Wah+Beach+Bar\/@20.6229583,-87.0743913,18.27z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x2c322889422d264e!8m2!3d20.6227194!4d-87.0739044\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Beach &amp; Calle 2<\/b><\/a><\/h6>\n<h6><b>Beach Chair Fee: <\/b>Free<\/h6>\n<p>The ex-pat community go absolutely crazy about this place, and it\u2019s not hard to see why.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/wahwahbeachbar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wah Wah<\/a> is the biggest beach club at this end of Playa del Carmen, it has a huge expanse of gorgeous white sand for you to enjoy, its staff speak perfect English, the beach chairs are free and the food is delicious.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and did I mention that they have live music from 1pm every day?<\/p>\n<p>At Wah Wah they are all about bringing people together. Every Sunday they have a pig roast buffet, all you can eat for only $130 pesos ($6.50 USD), and they have daily ring toss games in the sand to keep up that ex-pat community feel.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for a fun English speaking beach club on a budget, then this is absolutely the place for you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><b>3) El Pirata\u00a0<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18536\" src=\"https:\/\/www.playadelcarmen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/el-pirata-2-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\" People ordering at El pirata\" width=\"760\" height=\"570\" \/><\/p>\n<h6><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.co.uk\/maps\/@20.6263238,-87.071186,19z\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Beach &amp; Calle 10 bis<\/b><\/a><\/h6>\n<h6><b>Beach Chair Fee: <\/b>Free with order<\/h6>\n<p>This pirate themed beach club is nestled between Blue Parrot and Lido beach club, but can be a little tricky to find. It\u2019s best to enter the beach at Calle 10 and then stroll along the beach to your left until you see it.<\/p>\n<p>Once inside, you can choose to sit at the bar on the rope swings, pull up to a table and enjoy the \u201cthe best Azteca soup in Playa\u201d or simply lay back on one of their beach chairs and enjoy a cocktail in the Caribbean sun.<\/p>\n<p>El Pirata is definitely another budget locals joint, with a laid back tropical vibe. The price of the drinks!
