Food is one of my all-time favorite topics.<\/p>\n

Even growing up, the talk of what to eat preceded and followed every meal.<\/p>\n

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed that the people I can most relate to are those who are passionate about what they eat.<\/p>\n

They don’t necessarily have to be foodies per se; knowledge isn’t as important here as is the love and passion of all things culinary.<\/p>\n

Luckily for me, the restaurants in Playa del Carmen<\/strong><\/a> have a lot to offer to satisfy my passion.<\/p>\n

In fact, I’ve even gone so far as to claim that Playa is a foodie haven.<\/p>\n

Big words, I know.<\/p>\n

But I stand by them.<\/p>\n

Where to Go for Breakfast in Playa del Carmen<\/h2>\n

There is no shortage of good breakfast food in Playa del Carmen.<\/p>\n

In fact, there is no shortage of good food, period.<\/p>\n

But since we’re talking about the rise and shine meal, here are my favorite Playa del Carmen breakfast restaurants<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

#1 La Cueva del Chango<\/h3>\n

Although this list is in no particular order, La Cueva del Chango gets top spot simply because of its beautiful setting. Set in a lush garden, this is a great place to have a nice, relaxing, and tropical breakfast.<\/p>\n

Address<\/strong>: 38th Street between 5th Avenue and beach<\/p>\n

Hours<\/strong>: Open daily fro 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
