The condo was really nice and clean and had everything we could want. But there were a few problems, first I really think it would be helpful to tell people what type of soap to use in the washer and diswasher and also leave instructions for each. We were also not told about the icemaker running on bottled water so it was broke down the second week,which I hope we don't get charged for! Also the noise from the condo upstairs was really bad, you could here people walking around and scraping chairs on the floor! But the real problem was that we were not told by you that there was major construction going on right next door so the noise level was way over the top! We could not sit and enjoy the deck or leave the windows open from 6:00am to 6:00pm monday thru saturday because of the noise. So I would really have appreciated a heads up on the construction because I am not sure I would have stayed there.

Although the condos itself were wonderful, it was right next to construction. I am very upset about this. We were unable to enjoy our balcony because of the constant noise coming from next door, and the point of an ocean view condo is to enjoy the balcony. I believe our agent should have known this when she visited the condo in December but I find it disconcerting that she failed to mention the construction. We would have booked elsewhere (through worldlinks) had we known. As a result I would like a partial discount. Please contact me via email asap about this.
Furthermore, on the second last day of our stay, throughout the day there was a ridiculous amount of banging/hammering/drilling in the condo next door. This was a HUGE pain. Especially since we were unable to go anywhere that day as one of us had fallen very ill. This I understand is the condo's fault.
They failed to provide us with a safety deposit box.
My comments, wow! fantastic! Lovely! and more. The Corto Maltes as the most spectacular
ocean view in Playa del Carmen. The beachfront terrace is amazing.
Tanya, at the front desk, was awesome! She helped us efficiently each time we had a request. Also, we were very pleased and impressed with the security guards. They made us feel very safe. We were supposed to be visited by a "personal concierge" in the words of a young man who met us at the airport to help with the transportation we'd requested, but never did see Freddy Chan. The condo was beautiful and immaculate, though!
