The only reason I wouldn't return is the location and proximity to 10th ave. It was quiet but I would like it less traveled.

Really enjoyed my recent stay, over new year, at the Aqualuna. On 10th Ave it is close enough to 5th.Ave (3min walk) for all the action, bars, restaurants and shops, but far enough away for a peacefull nights sleep. The layout of the rooms is stylish and Meditteranean in feel. very Clean, tidy, with very friendly and helpful staff (available 24hrs).

I think the hotel is high quality and very kindness persons, and my room is always clean. But cost of the hotel ($150/night) is expensive, because another hotel serve me almost same service, but the price is $75.

the staff was wonderful, kind, helpful, and a pleasure to see everyday. aqualuna was an oasis in the ridiculous of playa del carmen.

Hello,
Our stay at aqualuna hotewas really enjoyable, with a staff particulary nice.
Little problem of noise because of the use of airconditioning by other clients,
and sometimes with the showers, and also the traffic of vehicules on the road, even at night.I had to keep earplugs at nights during the whole stay! it is not enjoyable at all while in vacation!! kind regards

I would recommend the hotel but would not return as it was not our choice. We were being ousted from our other accommodations and Aqualuna was chosen for us. It was by far the cleanest a nicest place we stayed throughout our entire trip, but its biggest downfall is the lack of a pool or swimming area. It is 2 blocks from the beach, but my husband and I both had to wave the garbage out of our path as we entered the water - it was absolutely disgusting. Its location was great otherwise. Its close to a Hot Bakery with fabulous breakfast at decent prices, and the 5th Ave market is only a block away. We found the major source of noise was vehicular from 10th Ave, and so we found we had to keep the windows closed.

AquaLuna hotel was charming and in great location. Everyone was so welcoming and hospitable. My room was immaculately cleaned every day.

This place is a true gem! Conveniently located, beautiful, private, immaculate. I would absolutely stay here again.
